Event Description

Wondered about keeping a dairy goat? Don't have a lot of room? Hames & Axle Farm, a Nigerian dwarf goat breeder since 1996, is offering a workshop about starting out with ND's or other goats, on Oct. 24, 2010. We'll cover housing, fencing, milking, vet care, and other topics, depending upon what questions are asked. Pat Stewart, the farmer at Hames & Axle, is the author of Personal Milkers: A Guide to Nigerian Dwarf Goat Keeping, and publisher of Ruminations magazine. More information available at the website.
