A movement to put good food back on the table is emerging. What began 30 years ago with chefs demanding better flavor has inspired consumers to seek relationships with nearby farmers. This is local food.
Meet Farm Aid's Executive Director Carolyn Mugar, Chef Peter Davis of Henrietta's Table, Farmer Ellery Kimball of Blue Heron Organic Farm and Tim Griffin of the Tufts Friedman School's Agriculture Food and Environment program.
Tickets are $12 per person, with net proceeds going to benefit Farm Aid.
Complimentary snacks from Pete & Gerry's Organic Eggs, Henrietta's Table, Iggy's Bread and Equal Exchange will be served and wine from Women of the Vine and beer from Blue Hills Beer will also be available for purchase.
