Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

As part of the Resurrect The Potluck project that we're doing with touring bands, we ask people to list a number of restaurants/stores/cafes/farms in their area that serve up sustainable, organic, local/ethically raised food.
The places should take into account the fact that budgets and time tight - we want to feed our artists well!
If I can't cook for them myself in Boston, I've sent bands to Boloco (a cheap burrito place that serves family-farmed meats), Stone Hearth Pizza (farm-sourced ingredients) and Cambridge Brewing Company (S/O/L/E ingredients and freshly brewed beers).
What do you have in your neighborhood?

oh, how i love those sweet potatoes!
Sticks and Stones pizzeria: local fresh ingredients, local microbrews. -Greensboro, Walker street.

Greensboro Farmer's Market: http://www.greensboro-nc.gov/departments/Parks/Facilities/market/

More to come!
Serious Eats just compiled a national list of street vendors who use Twitter. Includes web sites for many of them. Could come in handy while roaming the streets!
Roanoke, VA - two green-certified restaraunts: Fork in the Alley and Fork in the City - -- downtown Roanoke also has a nice Farmer's Market with some great shops & food vendors (mom & pop places) in the City Market Building.
Floyd, VA (Floydfest anyone???) - Oddfella's Cantina - - this place seriously kicks ass!! Very eclectic (as is Floyd for that matter), and seriously awesome food. In Floyd you can also visit Harvest Moon (the local co-op) to find local meats, locally brewed beer (Shooting Creek Brewery - )
Most of the other small cities around here have great local Farmer's Market - Salem's Farmer's Market is now hosting a Chef's Cirle with local chef's cooking in a reclaimed (and made portable) full kitchen, using ingredients picked up that day from the market.
Musician Will Daily interview by Chuck Leavell, keyboardist for The Rolling Stones and cofounder of MNN at Farm Aid 2009. Will says: "I worry about what I eat...It really hits me...When I'm on the road, you can't get anything on the highway - to eat - that's good for you".

In the ST. LOUIS, MO area:
Black Bear Bakery (Environmental sustainability, neighborhood support, as well as quality, local, and organic ingredients are at the center of Black Bear Bakery's mission)
Riddles Penultimate (Sure you can say your restaurant serves local foods, but since 1985 Andy Ayers has been setting the bar by which other St. Louis restaurants making this claim are judged. Sold to his daughter KT, she continues using the highest percentage of local product possible)
Schlafly Bottleworks (from a Farmers’ Market in their parking lot to SLOWednesday, Schlafly and their Maplewood Bottleworks facility have shown a continued commitment to going slow.)
Sweet Art (handmade, homemade, with love! Made from scratch baked goods and vegetarian/vegan lunch)

Plus numerous farmer's markets on Saturdays as well as Wednesday and Thursday evenings!

Eat Well Guide (Find good food: local, sustainable, organic in the US and Canada)
Slow Food USA (link out to your local chapter to find restaurants "Supporting Good, Clean, and Fair Food"
I just went to a resturant that was established in June 2009 called The 1 and Only Resturant. It is on Old St. Charles Rd. Across from what was once Macy's, Northwest Plaza. They serve all organic and locally produced food. Reasonably priced and tasty too! Near Lammert Field Airport, STL.
Frederick, MD.
Cafe Nola 4 East Patrick Street.
www.cafe-nola.com
Hippest spot in between DC and Baltimore located in a quaint little civil war town.
Bellingham, WA:
The Old Town Cafe (for breakfast & brunch) - delicious food, rotating local art on the walls and lovely servers!
Rudy's Pizza - sweet owners, lots of veggies, vegan options, soy cheese and wheat crust if you want it
Boundary Bay - house-made beers!
Chuckanut Brewery - more beer, and good food if you're feeling spendthrift.
Riddles has closed it's doors after many, many years.

The 1 and Only is now closed but still offers catering.
