Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

New to Homegrown! Looks fun and supportive. Being very interested in local food, homegrown food, sustainable agriculture, stronger more social neighborhoods, and great tasting produce I've put together some speakers and workshops for a June 13 casual get together in San Juan Capistrano.

It's free and we'll learn about organic techniques for soil building, CSAs, kids programs for summer, seed-balling, gardens of gratitude, and more. Come visit, it's free and neighborly!

Check out the description under the events section of homegrown.org...and respond here or at ocfoodnotlawns.org for RSVP please.

Added to the itinerary: we'll hear about how Gardens of Gratitude created 100 new edible gardens in one weekend in Los Angeles. We'll ask whether or not we should do the same in Orange County!
