Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

I've read a lot online about using things like a diluted castille soap or ivory soap for those pesky garden munchers, but can anyone offer me actual measurements of soap to water over the usual stuff online which seem to offer percentages?

If I have 16 oz. of water, how much soap (in ounces)? It's hard for me to figure something like 1% soap in a spray bottle and 99% waer (plus, most spray bottle have volume markings on the side, so it would be easier).

Any detergent based pest control recipes are more than welcome as well!

Add as much as you want, a little goes a fairly long way.
