Question for south-facing brick box

I have a brick window-type box on the south side of my house. I am wondering what fruit/veggie or other would tolerate that concentrated heat. I am in growing zone 4 (west central Minnesota). Your help is appreciated.

Eggplant, peppers and tomatoes should all do well in such a box!
