USDA Rural Development Loans

Has anyone had any experience with this type of loan? We rec'd our pre-qualification papers in the mail, acc'd to the USDA website we would qualify for the guaranteed loan. It was suggested to us by the home builder we've been talking with. Any advice, stories etc? All my friend buy in the burbs, no idea how it goes. Thanks!

Thanks!!! I will take a look. Maybe I should have been more clear, we haven't gotten the final OK, just the papers to fill out and send back in!!! That said, acc'd to everything I have read and their website calculators, we shouldn't have a problem!
