The Society of St. Andrew has regional coordinators across the Southeast and in some other locations in the US.  If you have excess produce, just contact SoSA and your regional coordinator will take care of getting it from you (or your field) and to the people who need it.  I know this system works, because I am the Triad area coordinator in NC.  In the Carolinas alone we rescue about 5 million pounds of produce annually.  To find out more, visit www.endhunger.org
