Where to find raw milk in the desert. 4 Replies

I'm looking to find some one who sells raw milk here in AZ. Does anyone know of some one who sells goat milk or cows milk? I would like to make my own butter and cheeses. Continue

I've started this group as a way for people in the Southwest to connect. I've been working my way year by year into a slower more localized life style. I've found that here in Arizona it's very hard to find local farmers, meats, eggs, yarn etc... After a few years I've finally met a few farmers and found a person who sells local lamb, beef and eggs. I'd like this group to be a away for people find these things faster. I also want it to be a place where people living in the southwest, who garden, to find information about gardening in the desert. There is only one book about desert vegetable gardens. All the other books out there don't talk about gardening in 106 degree weather with two straight months of sunshine and no rain.
