"Bump" for the whole group...
I don't really live *in* Seattle. I've gone into "Seattle Proper" since I moved here 3 years ago twice, both times to a hospital for a surgical consultation (yeah, mauled by my cat, not the proudest moment of my life).
I'm on the Eastside in unincorporated Snohomish, but I thought I'd say "hi" anyway, and poke people to see if anyone's still active. We've got a small acreage, a baby on the way, and unsurprisingly, lots of rainy days keeping me from going out into the mudslide that will be my kitchen garden. ;)
I'm really interested in seeing if folks here are sharing local resources, like Farmers' Markets (when and where), Co-ops (I know of, and shop at PCC, to give an example. PCC does not require a membership to shop there, and they have affordable goodies seasonally, so that, plus the membership discounts could be a way to add more organic produce to your diet), farms that sell straight to consumers, and experiences with them, or local buying clubs you're a member of, or have reviews of. Maybe we should start separate discussions on these, or see if we can maintain a list of local resources or something?
