I'm way down here in Florida- zone 9 west-central Florida
As with all things their are positive and negative things about this zone. Scorching sun and drought during
June is unbelievable. Winters are mild. The soil sandy, but drains well. Most folks don't like the heat and will
not be sweating in it; so they put in a landscaped yard- which just hangs on. Their isn't any demand for what
a alternative grower/person has to offer. Or else- their a closed bunch of folks- that have a material life of responsibility. Well see.
Most folks are indoors during mid-day. which helps. their a few urban growers- that are
struggling to make ends meet- which creates tension. Their are poor folks down here-
but they sure as hell don't grow or eat weeds. This is Florida! I'm a one of a kinder of sorts...
