Fill in the blank:
Brand Spankin' Newbie Farmer
A bit about me:
I just turned 30, and earlier this year my husband and I bought a beautiful home on just a wee acre of land, but it's beautiful..and empty. We're doing everything we can to learn about raising chickens (to start out with) and growing our own food. I'm too excited, I love farm life!
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
My specialty, whole baked chicken with fresh veggies and pomegranate :)
Currently reading:

Currently listening to:

My latest DIY project:
Raising my 2 1/2 Year old rambunctious boy

Hi, Amber. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I’m the flock tender here: site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content. I’m so glad you found us! I hope you’ll turn up plenty of projects and ideas here to spur you on, and I hope you’ll be game for sharing s0me of your own, too—more on your brand new acre (and congrats!)—in our member blog, The Stew. Elsewhere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got a question, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
