A bit about me:: I am mom to 7, living in a little village in Northern New York, growning our own since forever! I have a little business making cool things from discarded clothing, and even used to live in a completely recycled house (which is now my studio). If it's not cooked at home, we generally don't eat it. I love to can and freeze the bounty and give a lot of it away, as well.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:: Braised beef short ribs (locally raised, grassfed), our own potatoes, swiss chard cooked like Utica greens, homemade bread ( by my hubby!)

My latest DIY project:: Painting the studio, and building a greenhouse. Oh, and making maple syrup!
