Hi, Corinne. Welcome to HOMEGROWN. My name is Jennifer, I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content). My husband is from Maine, too, and since we’re in Massachusetts now, we’re lucky to make frequent trips north—though not quite New-York-Canada-border north! I hope you’ll find plenty of projects and ideas here to spur you on, and I hope you’ll be game for sharing some of your own, too—maybe photos and a description of that owl pillow—in our member blog, The Stew. And thanks for sharing your own blog! If you ever feel inclined to repost here on HOMEGROWN, please do! We love to spread the love! (Just a tip that reposting the entire post with a link back to the original blog tends to do better with our readers than simply reposting the link only.) Elsewhere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you’ve ever got questions, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
the gaia's garden group only had a few active members, so an extra voice will be especially appreciated.
both groups already completed site assessments, and are working on site designs. i'm curious whether you already have done a permaculture assessment and design for your property.... if so, please post it in both groups! you can also look back through the old discussion threads to find ours (they are a bit scattered amoungst the comments.)
welcome!
Hi Corrine! So glad to meet you. :) The tea you're interested in can be purchased online here - https://www.etsy.com/listing/120749596/mama-goddess-tea-herbal-tea-for?
I see you're a crocheter too! I love to crochet. Right now I'm working on finishing up another dready tam for my online shop and a huge afghan for a friend of mine! The afghan is so fun, it's in a chevron pattern that is very cool to work with. I'd love to see a photo of the owl pillow you made! I'm going to check out your blog now.
The tea is fantastic! Since finding out I'm pregnant, I've been drinking it several times a week. The red raspberry leaf in the tea has been known to help ease women during labor. A friend of mine said that her labor was virtually pain-free and realized it was probably due to all the red raspberry leaf tea she had been drinking during her pregnancy! We'll see how mine goes... :)
