85% Homegrown - Becomming Self-Sufficient In All Aspects
A bit about me:
Live in Alabama on 55 acres. Raise veggies year-round. Raise rabbits (meat). Will be adding chickens (meat & eggs) this spring. In fall adding goats (meat & milk). Next year adding a couple pigs (meat) and a cow or two (meat & milk).
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Soaked (fermentated) pasta with chicken & veggies & kombucha
Currently reading:
Nourishing Traditions & The Backyard Homestead & Root Cellaring & The Urban Homestead & Grow Vegetables
Currently listening to:
Yanni & Classical & Country
My latest DIY project:
Starting seedlings in baggies & moist towels then transplanting in pots - been very successful in getting starts within one week.

Cooking with fermentation - kefir, kombucha, sourdough, buttermilk, cheese, etc . . .
