What kind of HOMEGROWN are you?
Fill in the Blank
Fill in the blank:
Moving towards 100% Homegrown, Earth Mama
A bit about me:
I live on 9 acres of land in northern Minnesota and I want to transform my property into a 100% homegrown and self sufficient farm. Fruit, vegetables, chickens, goats, and wind power. We have already converted to an outdoor wood stove from propane. I am new to homegrown.org but this will be my third season gardening and I want to plan, plan, plan as much as I can to get prepared for the season and I want to learn as much as I can.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
All Natural Hamburgers, homegrown pontiac red potatoes and green beans...YUM!
Currently reading:
Run like a Mother
Currently listening to:
Willie Nelson on FarmAid 2010...such an inspiration
My latest DIY project:
Harvesting and preserving the gold from my garden. I love canning tomatoes and making salsa, and red sauce. I love pasta and anything Italian.

While I am still searching for a local farm, as well as grass fed cattle. I feel this is a win for today. The poultry and pork from the same market are considered all natural. I would prefer free range and organic while coming…
