Hello, Freda, and belated welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I’m the flock tender here: site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content. I’m so glad you found us and I’m sorry it’s taken me a while to say hello. As you probably know, HOMEGROWN.org is a little sibling of Farm Aid, and we’re still playing catch-up after the big concert last month in North Carolina. We love your state!

But most importantly, I'm thrilled you’re here! We love getting our HOMEGROWN mitts on moms and grandmoms who love good food! I hope you’ll turn up plenty of projects and ideas to spur you on, and I hope you’ll be game for sharing some of your own, too, in our member blog, The Stew—more on that vegan Black Forest ice cream, pretty please! Drool!
