A bit about me:
From Scratch Club is a small group of women who are passionately connected to the whole foods they and their families consume. We live in various cities within the Capital Region of Upstate NY (Albany to Saratoga Springs). We meet twice a month for a food swap, and maybe a food-related adventure, event or potluck. The rest of the month we are on the blog with stories, recipes, kitchen tips & tricks and food policy musings & news.

From Scratch Club is Alexis, Becky, Britin, Erika, Christine, Christina, Deanna, Dianna, Heather, Jillian and Liz. Follow along as we explore the complex world of food together!

We are fortunate enough to have no dietary restrictions or allergies, so I am free to try…

{from scratch holidays} A Family Cookbook by Dianna

I am not a handy person. When I tried knitting, the scarf was lumpy and grubby. I bend nails. I am too impatient to do embroidery or calligraphy and inevitably cut the sleeves out of the material for the skirt if I try to sew. So when it comes to home-made gifts, I have three options: write something, cook something, grow something.
