A bit about me:

I've been a city slicker but now prefer and enjoy the country. Never gardened before and giving it a try because I love putting up foods. Love cooking! Also love reading and knitting. In the winter, I volunteer to do income taxes for the less fortunate. Have an accounting degree and have spent most of my career working payroll. Have a wonderful husband and we were the parents of two sons. Our oldest will turn 40 this year! He lives close by.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:

I just tried a new recipe for beef stroganoff in the slow cooker. I had never had beef stroganoff. Today the recipe is chicken breasts, cornbread dressing and apricot preserves in the slow cooker.
