A bit about me:
I am trying to live life more simply and spend lots of time outside connecting with nature. My husband and I bought our house because of the stellar sun in the backyard for most of the day. We keep chickens and grow our own veggies. This year, I plan to try growing things I've never tried, like asparagus and radishes. :)
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Well, on Sundays, we always make a quiche from our fresh eggs, which can't be beat...

My latest DIY project:
We just rented a consignment space in an antique mall in downtown Savannah. The display tables have become my biggest DIY project in a while because we didn't want to spend a dime on them. I'll post pictures if I can, they look GREAT.

Please do get sucked in. Here we can tap into people who know more than us and also share with those who are just starting! Besides, I will take any space I can see more of Ms. Jess! As for our turkey day? Absolutely low key this year. We are visiting some family in VA but spending most of the time at my families condo on the ocean.....ALONE! hahahah.
