Hi! My name's John. In the past few years after taking college courses in culinary arts, nutrition, and food safety I increasingly became interested not only in preparing food, but how it is produced and where it comes from. This started me on a journey of discovery and exploration. The deeper I got into finding out how our everyday food is produced, the more I realized how much further removed from the entire process we really are. I am currently trying to live a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. From being a city boy, to now raising chickens and rabbits and growing my own herbs and vegetables in my ever expanding garden, I feel as if I am going down a path that brings me closer to my food. It has truly made me happier. I love all the information I have learned from so many great people and all the things I am able to share and help others with who are just starting out.
