A bit about me:
I'm a retired Greenhouse manager/nurseryman for 55 years. Wife will not live in the country after 50 years I don't argue. All I have is a average back yard. I raised my garden & feed the nieghborhood Squash,tomatoes,carrots,& beets.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
1/2 chickens on the barbie with squash,sweet potatoes,& egg plant.
Currently reading:

poor resception. country western only.
My latest DIY project:
I built a Photobioreactor to grow Algae.

I am happily learning more about the process of growing. I am not to the point of growing algae, but I am hoping to get enough experience to grow tilapia!

Thanks, Larry. You're right... education is never a waste. I suppose I'm just trying the build another body of knoweldge that will complement some of my ideological and policial educaiton I've pursued so far. I'd appreciate any advice you have as this year progresses--I'll be working on a community garden plot near my house, and I have a lot to learn!
