After 'doing' time' living in 'town' for 20+ years. I dragged the man kicking and screaming back to the woods and fields where my soul could be at peace. I'm loving my days here, with chickens that chase butterflies, geese that watch through the window and a duck that 'talks' while she eats...the man, well..lets just stick with happy thoughts!
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Trout from the creek, roasted veggies/shitake mushrooms, and a rustic blackberry tart.

Hi, Nancy. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I'm the flock tender here (site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content). You may have already started finding your way around the site, but I hope you’ll share photos and tales of your chickens, geese, creek trout, and more in our member blog, The Stew. I love the sound of cooking up trout and blackberry tarts while listening to the Lumineers. Right on! You can always find the latest additions to the site at the very top of the homepage. And if you’ve got questions, you can leave a comment on my profile page or email me at wehunt@farmaid.org. I’m so glad you found us and hope you feel right at home!
