Just getting back to the earth and loving it.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:

I try not to cook. It's my least favorite thing to do.

But now that I'm growing my own veggies I have determined to try and not just cook healthy but cook enjoyably!

The stack of Homesteading Magazines my sister lent me.

Currently listening to:

The wind as it breezes through the trees. The dogs occasional bark at imaginary foes just on the other side of any given fence. The rooster proclaim his joy at being polygamous. And listening for arrival of spring!

My latest DIY project:

Anything and everything. Currently working on a civil war gown for a gal attending the Cotillion. I need to build a fence for the dogs and another one for the chickens. I also need to re-do my porch steps so they're not dangerous. And maybe a wrought iron gate for my driveway. Yep, it's pretty boring around here. I love it.
