Started out healthy luckily my mom knew about good food. Raised three daughters "AOAP" as organic as possible. We live at 9,000' in Tabernash, CO so farming is difficult but ranchers do well. Native crops we can grow on small niche farms include cabbage and spinach, juniper berries, raspberries, mushrooms, herbs, lots of indoor marijuana bcause we can now that its legal in Colorado, yay.
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Last night, tri-blend grains with sesame tofu, stir fry veggies optional keif infused hemp oil dressing.
Hi, Susan. Welcome to HOMEGROWN! My name is Jennifer, and I’m the flock tender here: site updater and tweaker, feeder and waterer of content. I’m so glad you found us! I hope you’ll turn up plenty of projects and ideas here to spur you on, and I hope you’ll be game for sharing some of your own, too, in our member blog, The Stew. Whether your agritourism ambassadorship is in an official or unofficial capacity, I’d love it if you took a look at the Find Good Food: Resources by State page and gave a yell if you know of any Colorado links we should add. Elsewhere on HOMEGROWN, you can always find the latest additions to the site at the top of the homepage, and if you ever need help finding your way around, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment on my profile page or shoot me a message. I hope you feel right at home!
