Community Farmer

A bit about me:

I live and farm at the Yarrow Ecovillage Community Farm, in BC Canada. My husband and I have been farming about two acres for five years now, and we sell our produce through a CSA and farmer's markets. We love living and growing in community, where we have so many people to share the good life with.

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:

Squash blossoms, stuffed with goat cheese from a friend, beer battered and fried. Mmmmmm.

The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, again.

Home, by Edwarde Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes.

My latest DIY project:

A vegetable wash station made out of an old hay wagon. It's awesome - I built a roof over it so we stay dry while washing produce. There are sinks, fully plumbed, wash screens, hard surfaces for weighing and bagging, and a hidden storage compartment!
