2 cups Martha White corn bread mix
1 cup Quaker yellow corn meal
1/2 cup onion finely chopped
1 tbls minced garlic
1 tsp cajun spice
milk or water or buttermilk to make a thick batter. the batter should be thick enough to make into balls
peanut or canola oil heated to 400 degrees F.
