Celebrate the culture of agriculture & share skills (Growing! Cooking! Eating!)

So, first: I got 2 family recipes from my grandparents in-law this last weekend! I'm SO excited! jEspecially since my step-mother-in-law said I couldn't get a family recipe till I was in the family for 15 years (I've been with my hubby for 5 and no one likes my step-mother-in-law, hehehe)

Second: it looks like we have two different varieties of Americaunas! A red brown and a silver.

Third: We have SO many hot peppers and tomatoes coming in that we'll have them coming out our ears, lol... Hmmm... soon to invest in canning jars and send stuff off around the US, :)

Now, if we could find some way to get our dream house (we found IT over the weekend too). Best part of last weekend: our 1 1/2 yo started to volunteer kisses! As much as seems things go wrong, its a plus to look at what went right :)

A good list of blessings - so important to remember what's good everyday. Thanks for the reminder.

I figure, these days especially, its hard to remember the good stuff. As humans I think we tend to lean toward all the, "what else can go wrong." funny thing is, the blog started off with "this is the neat thing that happend today"
