Radishes used to be the items that were hard to use up in the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm share box, but the more I've been playing with them the more the whole family is enjoying them.

Kirsten: I have a feeling this is going to be my 2014 version of your roasted beet and goat cheese spread from last year. I made that all summer and fall! Just curious: Have you tried replacing the mayo with more cream cheese or yogurt?

I have a feeling layered vegetable appetizers are going to be my 2014 version of . . . layered vegetable appetizers.  I'm working up an avocado & lima bean hummus as the base for a Cinco de Mayo layered vegetable appetizer for work functions for my spouse a I to tote over the next few days.

I haven't tried replacing the mayo since I love mayo [really the only condiment I have strong feelings against is that nacho "cheese" that comes in giant silver bags and sits and oozing temperature for 3 days until the bag is replaced in the concession stand . . . um where was I?] but let me know how it works for you.
