A bit about me:
My dream is to own a small hobby farm. I want to grow organic veggies, raise chickens, and learn a few crafting skills. I grew up in a rural area in Georgia, but have never lived/worked on a farm. This entire lifestyle is fairly new to me, but I can't seem to get enough of it! My husband and I are renting a house right now, so I'm limited to a container garden. However, next year we hope to purchase our own home with a few acres so I can really kick this new way of life into full gear.

Family was a huge part of my childhood. I saw my grandparents at least once a week, and went to school with my cousins. Although we lived surrounded by farms, my family never owned a… Continue
