A bit about me:

I'm a gardening/native foods teacher at a charter high school here in sunny Tucson. I've lived here for about 8 years with my boyfriend and 2 dogs. We've learned a lot about all the native plants that grow in our area, as food and medicine, and are continuing to learn a lot on how to garden in this arid climate. Oh, and we're expecting our first baby soon, so ya-hoo!

Latest greatest meal cooked at home:

Local, grass fed chuck roast cooked in my solar oven, used to make shredded beef tacos for dinner.
