My husband and I left the city a few years ago, and recently purchased a 5 acre farm in the hills of Virginia. I absolutely love the life of growing food, tending chickens, and dreaming even bigger! Currently, we have 25 chickens of a few breeds and are building more coops - planning to start selling laying hens and eggs by Spring.
