This is one of my favorite recipes.  The original recipe came from the Quaker Oats container.  My mom made the original recipe quite often when we were kids.  I put my own healthy spin on the…Continue

What kind of HOMEGROWN are you?
Dirt Under My Fingernails City Slicker
A bit about me:
As a kid my Gran used to have us work in her garden when we stayed with her.
Now that I have my own garden I find myself remembering her little quips about plants. I find myself daydreaming at work about what I'm doing next in the garden.
Digging in the dirt makes me feel good!
Latest greatest meal cooked at home:
Grilled eggplant topped with organic goat cheese, baked chicken and tossed salad.
Currently reading:
The Encyclopedia of Country Living
Currently listening to:
The Beatles
My latest DIY project:
Time to get this updated! Wow! Since I've joined Homegrown about 3 years ago I've turned into a handygirl. We've built our own water filtration system, the gardens have GROWN and we'd like to head out to a larger property to become more self-sufficient.
Life is good!

why, yes. assuming you are talking about Apron Stringz, i am the very same. i see up above that you joined the AS homegrown group, which i am sorry to say hasn't seen much action in a looong time. as far as the permacurious group goes, it's a reading group, and we are already deep into the manual. the group is closed, unless you have already read the book... let me know if that is the case.
you are welcome to follow the comments though, which should be open for viewing.
